Altrincham - Michael Welton

I have been inspired to stand by Dan and Geraldine, our first ever Green
councillors on Trafford Council. It has been my fortune to work alongside
them over the last few months, meeting residents and tackling the issues
they bring to our attention. We have achieved action for local people on
road safety, potholes and parking, bin collections, ginnels, litter,
planning & over-development issues and much more besides. We are campaigning
on air pollution, congestion and herbicide/pesticide use to improve the
Altrincham we are handing on to future generations.

Local residents want councillors that are a part of their community,
listening to people, understanding their concerns and working as hard as
they do. I live in Altrincham, have kids at a local primary school and I am
co-chair of a local parks group, which I helped found in 2014. I am
passionate about protecting and enhancing our green spaces, and creating
safer and more convenient walking and cycling infrastructure in our town.
Thank you for trusting me with your vote on May 2nd. I look forward to
representing Altrincham as its third hard working Green Councillor.
