I’m proud to stand in Bowdon in the 2021 council election, as a fresh voice for our residents. The Green Party offer strong vision and vital leadership on the environment – locally, nationally and on at international level.  As soon as we gained our first Green councillors in Trafford in 2018, we have pushed the council to declare a climate emergency. As a result, no longer used are disposable plastics or glyphosate weed killer on our green spaces. We continue to campaign to improve air quality, for safer streets for all, whilst encouraging more active travel for both children and families.

Aside from the environmental leaders, the Green Party have a strong range of policies on areas such as education, protecting health and social care, housing, as well as culture, media and sports. Having lived as a Trafford resident for over 30 years, I find it important to listen to the community and stand up for your issues. Green councillors have brought changes already. I’d be honoured if you considered choosing me as one more distinctive voice.
