I have lived in this ward for over 20 years and raised my family here. I help run and regularly volunteer for Friends of the Bowdon Bollin. This year especially we have all appreciated access to green space and great local walks. Our local environment is very important to me, but I am also passionate about solving environmental issues on a larger scale. Climate change and biodiversity loss are recognised as huge global problems that we need to mitigate to protect our world for future generations. Whilst international cooperation is important here, we can make a difference at the local level which is why it is so good to have an effective Green Group on Trafford Council.
