Conservative government lift Trafford lockdown restrictions in spite of covid 19 spike

Green councillor Geraldine Coggins has expressed shock that the governent is lifting local lockdown restrictions. This ignores the recommendations from the council's Director of Public health. Councillor Coggins also said it goes against broad cross party support for the current restrictions from everyone other than the conservatives.
