In Jan 2019 the Greater Manchester Combined Authority published its revised draft of the Spatial Framework after a long wait. Our support for this document is significantly limited and can only be of a very qualified nature. We continue to have major objections to certain aspects, as outlined below.

Trafford's new Green Party councillors tonight chose to not support Labour's Andrew Western as the new leader of Trafford Council. Labour relied on support from the Liberal Democrats to secure Western's position, but the Greens have chosen to remain independent of this new administration.
