People can vote for the Green Party right across Trafford this year. Our experienced Green Party councillors work hard all year round. We get things done for residents, businesses and schools. We campaign on the issues that matter to people including:
Safer Roads: We hear residents’ requests for safer streets. We campaign for 20mph limits around school and homes, and safer roads for everyone using them.
Better Services: Our councillors work hard to hold the council to account for its delivery of basic services, from vital social care to fixing our roads.
Housing: We campaign for warmer, energy efficient homes and more social housing to tackle the cost-of-living crisis.
Clean Rivers and Air: We need to stop dumping sewage in our rivers, clean our dirty air, and protect our green spaces.
Town Centres: Our towns and villages need to be greener, attractive and resilient to climate change. We need better provision for disabled people and investment in public toilets.
Schools: We are campaigning for more local school places for all the children that need them.
Urgency on the Climate Crisis: We need to offer hope and take responsibility for the legacy we are passing on to our children and grandchildren.
Polling stations are open May 2nd 2024 from 7am to 10pm. For more information enter your postcode on http://yourvotematters.co.uk
