Trafford Green Party member and local campaigner Bridget Green has presented a petition to Trafford Council calling for a 20mph speed restriction on South Downs Road linking Hale to Bowdon and an important route for children attending nearby schools. The Bowdon resident spoke about the benefits of making the road safe for children to walk and cycle to school with reduced congestion and pollution, happier residents and healthier childred.
