Green party councillor and Altrincham and Sale West parliamentary candidate Geraldine Coggins joined many other protesters when United Utilities held their annual general meeting near Warrington.
The company has continued to release raw sewage into our water systems whilst at the same time reporting huge operating profits and rewarding shareholders with substantial dividends. Councillor Coggins said the utility companies should be put back into public hands. Full story here.
