School pupil's successful road safety campaign recognised by Dame Sarah Storey

 

A school pupil, supported by her family and Trafford Green Party, presented a petition to Trafford Council over five years ago for a safe crossing point across the busy A56 in Altrincham.

Now completed with funding from Transport For Greater Manchester, the pupil's successful campaign has been recognised by no less than Dame Sarah Storey, active travel commissioner.  Trafford Green councillors have been really pleased to have had the opportunity to be supportive and will continue to work hard in improving local road safety for all residents.
