Davyhulme West - Kevin Chatterton

I have lived in Urmston with my family for over 30 years and have been active in local campaigns which have included George H Carnell Leisure Centre, the Flixton Green Belt, and saving Trafford General A&E.

Like many others, I have become disillusioned with the main parties in taking my vote for granted. As every penny counts now, it’s imperative to hold this council to account on their vanity projects and poor local services.

Presently I am privileged to work in the NHS as a Paramedic for North West Ambulance Service and represent my colleagues as a Unison Steward and a Health and Safety Officer. Trafford has a proud NHS history and if elected I would not only advocate for the retention of current services but also for expansion into areas such as health promotion.

I have a wealth of life experience including 9 years serving in the RAF and working for British Aerospace in Saudi Arabia during the first Gulf War. I am a passionate believer in public services that support our veterans’ physical, social and mental wellbeing.

I am a keen sports fan and ex rugby player, although now limit myself to a leisurely game of golf.

I have the privilege of standing in the local elections in May as a Green Party Candidate, where if selected will endeavor to give everyone a voice and hold local service providers accountable.

Vote for the Green Party in May.
