I have been living in Flixton for 11 years now and like the green spaces and being part of the community. My 2 children attend a local primary school.
In 2019 I joined the Green Party because I felt that not enough was being done to secure the future of our children. More than ever is it important to protect our green spaces, give people a safe environment to cycle and walk, support our local businesses and give everyone a fair chance to develop to their potential.
I am proud to stand for the Green Party as it shows that everyone can have an impact and together we can make things happen: “If you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far, go together” (African proverb).
