There is so much wrong in the world right now that it would be easy to despair, but the dark times are when we most need to be the change that we want to see in the world. I chose to make Stretford my home and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am standing in the local elections because what happens locally matters and I want to play a bigger part in making things better. That starts at home, here in Streford, but what we do here also has an impact in the wider world. Residents of Altrincham and Hale have already seen the difference that Green councillors can make at a local level, and we are all benefitting from those councillors’ willingness to stand up for peace, equity and the desperate need to live within our planet’s means. I would be honoured to join them and to represent you on Trafford Council.
